Join us as we kick off the fall Soccer season. This is the opportunity for the recreational teams to get team pictures and participate in some scrimmages. In addition there will be some vendor booths available. For more information please see the 2010 Opening Day Flyer that the coaches have been handing out to their teams.

 The University of California, Santa Barbara will be hosting the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Final Four the weekend of December 10-12. Come witiness this historic event as the College Cup comes to the west coast for the 2nd time in 20 years!

| New Director of Officiating! |
|
The 2010 East Diablo Board of Directors would like to welcome renowned National Referee and Assessor, Bob Sabella, as the Club's new Director of Officiating. He brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of the game of soccer, most importantly, as a Referee and Referee Assessor. His job as Director of Officiating will include recruiting, training, observing, mentoring, and upgrading referees. One of his main proposals is assign referees to match qualified officials to the appropriate level of games.

| Annual General Meeting Update |
|
EDYSL held the club's annual general meeting on Monday March the 8th. Annual reports were given; reports covered the club's financial status, field space and usage, member count status & player development plan. Several bylaw changes were put to member vote and approved. Sash Migay was unopposed for the open club president position and will remain in his position for the next two years. Cynthia Ulricksen was re-elected via vote by the attending club members as the club's secretary and will hold the secretary position for the next two years.
